<lj:music>The 5,6,7,8's - Oriental Rock</lj:music>

Jen cut my hair yesterday and I fecking love it! She did such a grand job!!!

oooh emmm gulllllllllllllllllcha guyz. last night was a total fucking blast.

it started out with me eyeing a guy walking past Johnny rockets ala Damien Rice, then the poetry boy on the line, then both drummers from The Jet Boys and the Fevers. The 5 6 7 8s were amazing live and Jen, Erin, Paul and I had the best seats in the entire house. I love how maxwells is small and intimate, it increased the chances of us meeting the bands afterwards -- which is exactly what happened. Paul and Jen got the pictures they're been wanting with one of the members of the 5 6 7 8s and I got my picture with the drummer from Jet Boys. Sure I had no clue as to what he was saying being that he was drunk and mumbled something incoherently in Japanese...but hey, it was WORTH it!!!

crazy fun momentos
*this guy mike we met checked paul out and bought me a drink (Guinness BABY!)
*I high fived and hugged the Jet Boys drummer (great punk rock act by the way). later on after the show, I talked to him for a little bit with what little english he knew and he proceeded to give me free jet boys stickers and posters and crap etc. Jen and Paul said he was hitting on me and was all up on my grill...I said it was the budweiser. hahahahhahaha good times!!!
* picture fun! comming soon!!!
* it was SO MUCH FECKING FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

cheers, beers, and woo hoos!!
- Fez

    <lj:music>Damien Rice - Cold Water</lj:music>

Yeah...you'd think after falling asleep at around 1 AM from being on the phone...you'd wake up alot later than expected. But no, my body's doing the whole "lets routine" and I tend to wake up at 9:30. It was alright though, since I woke up to the Beatles being blasted in the kitchen (trying to drown out the air supply). Then at around 1 I had an obligatory family drink...and if it weren't for Jen calling me up to get out of the house, I would have been on a fierce batter alright.

So, once again, it was so spontaneous. And those are usually alot better than planned events. We met up with Efrain at around 2 something...and everyone else was probably at home resting on a Sunday (cuz thats what Sunday's are usually for).

Went to the lake...then it got cold and we decided to walk back...while we were doing that Efrain gave us special ring tones...I got some weird technoish thing that...ah...its just too cool sounding (well, I think...) lol. Something Danny would definately dance to. Tried to kill a few ducks here and there...

So really...it was fun/cool/interesting to just be able to see those two hehe.

Kimmies are ya home yet lass? <lj:music>Something off of Pablo Honey</lj:music>

"I have this insane urge to write but I can't get it out.
Life has this funny way of keeping you on your toes -- one minute we've got something we're so sure of, and the next minute its gone. And what else is there left? But to gather the pieces thats been carelessly scattered about the linolium floors. The cold lining of empty apartment buildings and the person sitting next to you at the local bar. You pretend to listen but you're really not there. Everyone pretends to listen but you are in fact the solitary safety net of your own self. Then, its just you, the world, and your conscience. And its a beautiful thing. To be able to feel. To be able to laugh. To be able to cry when you think of something touching. The physical pain you feel in your chest like your heart is actually breaking. The way your stomach hurts from laughter and giggles with the warmth of good friends and the company of family. We are all ruled by the delicacy and intimacy of love, life, and limitless observations. I can write you a book on how amazing times can be, and how stressful the other half of it is. How rich and envigorated you can feel waking up one day, and wake up another day wishing it were a weekend. How we as people with the ability to understand and reason can surge foward but hold ourselves back. This is the reality of life. That there are opposites involved in everything we do. For every ounce of good there is a grain of bad. And for every bit of starkness and inevitable evil, there is goodness to succomb. That without those opposites we cease to have balance and meaning."

I think thats chapter one

    <lj:music>The Ravonettes - The Love Gang</lj:music>

In honor of the last day of HSPA's (and the fact that its become the unwritten law of 'no staying home on a friday') Jen and I decided to just wander the lovely streets of our town and see where it leads us. Plan well done (for the most part buahah)...and there you see us, claiming the ever-promising couch at the coffee house...that we basically live in anyway.

I remember alot of fog outside...and the list we made on how we spent the week so far. Apparantly...the list reached up to 22 or something...but I guess I'll just post that tomorrow. The bag is so far away...and I'm going to pass out after I write this anyway.

So we get out of school...have a decent conversation here and there...until we had to part ways that is. Efrain got a dose of well needed "Boy's Night Out" (we found out later that night when we decided to call and say hi) as did Jen and I with "Girls Night Out"...Sitting at a curb, sharing a number 5 from Micky D's...and well...singing just about anything that popped into our heads.

And you know what the best part about it was? We were sober. And that rocks man. Sure we may have sung at the top of our lungs to old Queen and Chicago hits (the musical mind you lol)...but hey...you had to let loose and feel the flow.

...Alright...I'll give part of the list away...
* We were almost ALMOST arrested at Kelly Lane today. Jen and Josais decided to walk in illegal places...while...Efrain and I 'kept the fort' ha.

Oh well. <lj:music>Radiohead - The Amazing Sounds of Orgy</lj:music>

Aroma...a pamphlet just sitting on my desk right now...hence the awesome catch phrase from above lol. Anyways...yeah, to a certain group of people who think that writing about a certain subject on the HSPA's are a one way ticket to counseling, I suggest CHECKING YOUR RESOURCES *cough maritza cough*. lol. Its ok...just...half of the fucking junior class is going to counseling then. Hey I think there's one at Kelly Lane. lol.

And regarding Ms. Noble's eyesight...wtf...how the hell did she see me with Danny's CD player wayyyyyyy up top of the bleachers?? I mean...I don't put the headphones on and jerk my hands around, jumping up and down, saying LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME. Eh...stupid glasses.

Josais...ehem...pulled a straight guy move today...oh yeah. I nearly choked on that aerosol Binaca spray...and apparantly my lip gloss tastes good. This is weird...all that friends with benefits stuff...only I wind up making out with a gay guy. hahahahah. I wish you all could read Mandy's Irish comment...oh lordy.

Peace, Love, and Harumaki
- Frenzkins

Wayyy too much fun with the Binaca mouth spray today. Wayyyyy too much *giggle* fun.

And from that tiny experiment kids...we all learned, that while shotties work with ciggarette smoke...they [binaca] don't go well when sprayed into a couple's mouth...(eh...sorry bout that jen and efrain)...I THOUGHT IT COULD HAVE WORKED. But it didn't.

Listening to Radiohead at 12:00...Fake Plastic Trees...I dunno, the melody. I guess. Hahahahhaa.

One more day of HSPA man...just one more. <lj:music>The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots</lj:music>

Slow day...final process of freaking out about HSPA's then slowing calming my ass down. I'm doing some more studying tonight and tomorrow I hope to not oversleep. Efrain keeps giving us motivational speeches about how the dumbest people managed to pass the test last year...and that we would do fine. I sure am hoping so...that way I can celebrate success the good old fashioned way.

Anyways...

Today was a slow day in all my classes, I think they were looking to soften the blow of exam week. The only great thing I get out of this test (aside from AHEM academic justification...) is the fact that I miss French class for 3 days. Fuckin Brilliant.

I just have to remember all my work for when we get back to the routine of things.

*Good things that happened today*
- Firedrill with beautiful weather
- Dan and I drawing naughty positions in lab
- Kim's (my 'irish twin' according to her) note.
- Josais and his magic hands...

Peace, Love, and Penis Lighters
- Zee Frenzkins Yah

<lj:music>The Raveonettes - Attack of the Ghost Riders</lj:music>

Wow, spontaneity at it's best. So here's how today went a down:

I woke up at around 10:45 to people downstairs blasting Sean Paul or some other crazy reggae thing. At around 11:30 we decided on going out (Me, Jen, Dan, Efrain)...nowhere in particular, we just needed to get out of the house since it was such a beautiful day out. 50 fucking wonderful degrees.

We meet up at the highschool at 2 but Dan is MIA. So we figured ok, maybe its understood that he wasn't able to go. Turns out he just ran late and while on the bus on the way to Hoboken (oh yeah...we decided to go to Hoboken) we see Dan sprinting across the street (like them good old track star days lol).

We hollar like a bunch of baboons inside the bus while yours truly presses herself up against the window - ALAS! he gets on. All is well.

So then...since we were all pretty passive, we narrowed down the choices for lunch to Arthurs Tavern or Johnny Rockets. In a fair played coin toss, Johnny Rockets won.

So we ate, talked, giggled, sipped some shakes, and watched the waitresses dance to "Love Shack" but our songs on the jukebox never came on.

So...next time around, we'll be going to Arthurs Tavern. St. Patricks Day!

[Side notes]
* I bought a Raveonettes album, it fucking rules.
* H.G.T (hot guy tally) = 25...

Peace, Love, and Strawberry Milkshakes
- Frenzkins
